Includes minutes of the Board of Directors Meetings, Executive Committee Meetings, American Civil Liberties Union Foundation Board, Meetings and National Advisory Council Meetings of which Konvitz was a member. Also includes routine organizational documents. Also a letter from Roger N. Baldwin, founder of the American Civil Liberties Union in 1920 and its director until 1950. Baldwin mentions that he's been aware of Konvitz all these years through his writings and some of his students. Baldwin also says that he remains "optimistic about the prospect of a world order of laws, not arms, painful as the process is -- but it's growing." Baldwin also mentions that he vividly remembers their years of association when they shared a small office "and you handled so competently our legal work that I never had a question or concern," (September 9, 1979).
