Scope and Contents From the Series: The Northeast Regional Center for Rural Development was established in 1972 under the Rural Development Act of 1972. It was located at Cornell by action of the agricultural experiment station directors and the extension directors of the 12 Northeastern states. It was one of four such centers in the United States.
