A folder of photographs and the files of shelter director Jay Toole are included in the administrative records of QEJ’s Shelter project.

Among the job descriptions and reports about students, volunteers, and interns are information about a QEJ transgender meeting, and notes from a 1999 QEJ network meeting, prior to QEJ’s founding.

QEJ obtained funding from numerous sources, including the Astraea Lesbian Foundation, Ben and Jerry's, Gill Foundation, Jewish Fund for Justice, New York Community Trust, New York Women's Foundation, Stonewall Foundation, Unitarian Universalists, and the Paul Rapoport Foundation whose records are preserved at Cornell.

Board agendas and minutes give top-level insight into the plans and operations of an organization. These begin in December 1999 and are fairly complete.
