Ergaz writes that while VN is happy with Kahane's translation, a rare occurrence (4.1.58), he has categorically refused this demand, which G. claims has nothing to do with VN anyway (3.28.58 & 5.16.58). Mention (5.16.58) of new legal difficulties ahead for G.
