Became property of his wife's nephew, George E. Monroe of Dryden, N.Y. (wife's name: Annette Edgcomb of West Dryden, N.Y.). Apparently later used as a scrapbook, the first 1/3 of the account book contains mounted newspaper clippings of prominent men and women.

Hill owned a General Store; dated 1848, New York. 3 pp. - Articles of Agreement between Ezra G. Beach and Eli hakes permitting Hakes to cut and take timber from property belonging to Beach, 1859. 1 page - titled Day Book 1880 indicates establishment of partnership between Wm (?) Jonas, Thomas Mason and George F. Smith as dealers in furniture....
