The Stephen Poleskie papers (1938-2020) document the life and creative activities of Stephen (Steve) Poleskie. Poleskie was an artist, pilot, and writer who taught at Cornell University for over thirty years. His collection includes personal and professional correspondence; academic, administrative, and financial documents; exhibition catalogs and publicity postcards; event announcements; photographs and negatives; articles by and about Poleskie and his professional associates, students, colleagues, and family; original fiction and nonfiction writings; reference material; performance recordings; and flight logs and certifications.
