BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Professor in the Dept. of Human Development (1966-1993) and Director of the Center for Research on the Effects of Television.

Condry graduated from West Virigina University with an A.B. degree in 1961 and an M.A. in 1962. He received his PhD in social psychology in 1966 from the University of California at Los Angeles. His entire teaching career was spent at Cornell with sabbaticals at the University of Kansas and at Stanford University.
