ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY
In the 1950s college outing clubs in the northeast associated in the Intercollegiate Outing Clubs Association (IOCA) which sponsored numerous events. In 1952 a Finger Lakes Regional IOCA was established for local colleges and universities.The Cornell Outing Club has been an active part of Cornell life since the 1920s.
