BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Professor of Human Development, Cornell University.
Brumberg received her bachelor's degree in history from the University of Rochester in 1965, her master's degree in American studies from Boston College in 1971 and her doctoral degree in American history from the University of Virginia in 1978. She has served on the Cornell faculty since 1979 and was director of the Women's Studies Program from 1985 to 1988.
