COLLECTION DESCRIPTION

Collection offers a depth of material related to fashion design in the later half of the 20th century with most dating from the 1990 to 2016. Material in the collection consists of lookbooks, Visionaires, designer interviews, VHS tapes and other media, and other publications and books related to fashion. Also includes newspaper articles, magazines and flyers collected by Faux documenting her experience at Cornell in 1969.

Processing Information:

Series in this guide were created based on original cataloging of the collection before it arrived in the RMC - lookbooks, trend reports, exhibit and other event publications, books, Visionaires, and promotional material were all grouped together and the majority of the individual items were numbered and those numbers were kept. Videos were renumbered according to RMC rules but the original numbers appear in the notes field as a reference.

Later additions (after Box 24) were placed into corresponding series but unless they were media, the items were not individually numbered.
