ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY
Organized in 1802 by Jedediah Chapman, a famous itinerant minister, and incorporated in 1807, the church came under the Geneva Presbytery on September 17, 1805. A church was built in 1808-1809 with a new building in 1838.
