Files for grants The Atlantic Philanthropies made in the Republic of Ireland between 1987 and 2016. Overall, Atlantic invested $1.3b in the country, with particular focus on higher education, human rights, and services for the young and old. Of all geographic areas of impact, Ireland has received grants encompassing the largest number program area classifications, including Higher Education, Reconciliation and Human Rights, Ageing, and Children and Youth. Atlantic has similarly identified a large number of key issues, including Higher Education, Palliative Care, Dementia,Immigration and Migraton, Aging Research, among many others.
