Includes student rosters, curriculum information, etc. on the school for missionaries sponsored by the NYS College of Agriculture, 1941 and 1942. Of special interest is a mimeo copy (14 pp. typescript single-space) of a letter, Apr. 11, 1940, from E. A. White, describing a journey he and colleagues made by train, bus, and mule from Rangoon into the mountains of North Burma; contains much comment on travel conditions, missionary activities, the standard of living and customs of the natives, orchids observed on the trail, etc. (Edward Albert White, 1872-1943, of the C. U. Department of Floriculture and Ornamental Horticulture, 1913-1939, and author of American Orchid Culture, 1942.)
