Party invitation
Content Description
An early three-song cassette tape by The Wu-Tang Clan, likely distributed at the November 2, 1993 party for their debut studio album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), which would be released the following week on November 9, 1993. The impending release was celebrated with a party and showcase gig at Webster Hall (125 E. 11th St., NYC). A copy of the invitation card to the party (with Stretch Armstrong as DJ) accompanies the cassette. The tape contains the tracks: 1. Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta F’ Wit; 2. Clan in Da Front; 3. Wu-Tang: 7th Chamber (Part II), all of which appeared on Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). By 1995, the album was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and had sold over 2 million copies in the US.
