General Welfare information
Scope and Contents
These files document the core work QEJ did, including sharing their insight and knowledge at Creating Change, the annual activist conference hosted by the National LGBT Task Force. There is good documentation of the annual Amazingly Queer Race for Economic Justice, a “scavenger hunt across the city, in which competing teams will raise funds to combat poverty, homelessness and other urban injustices.” There are three folders about the working group that wrote Beyond Same-Sex Marriage: A New Strategic Vision For All Our Families and Relationships, and these shed light on how the marriage summit came to be and the behind-the-scenes thinking about it.
