O: Bust of Lafayette facing right. Around the edge: Libertati Nun Defuit Nunquam. R: Paolo J R Lafajette Polonia Moerens, with a female allegory of Poland resting on a large shield ornated with Poland's coat of arms, and mourning the death of Lafayette. This splendid medal was coined by the Polish Committee in Paris. White.
