O: Bust of Lafayette facing right in a redingote (or double-breasted coat). Legend around the edge : Général Lafayette. R: masonic altar. Olivier suggests that this medal might have been struck at the occasion of Lafayette's visit to the Grand Lodge of New York on September 11, 1824 (p. 24). White.
