Typed resolution of Tompkins County Republican Committee congratulating Platt, Jan. 23, 1897. Invitation to formal transfer of Grant's Tomb to New York City, Apr. 1897. Telegram from Platt, Aug. 9, 1898. Clippings pertain to Ithaca politics and Cornell legislation - veterinary college, military training, school of forestry, etc. Handwritten copy of Stewart's address as chairman of McKinley meeting held in the lyceum, Ithaca, Oct. 1896.
