Contains notes on the proposal for a book about shale gas that was submitted to the University of North Carolina Press by SMC and Ned Rightor. There are many versions of reaction to the reviews as well as correspondence with their editor, Joseph Parsons, a draft contract with comments, a later memo on how the book is evolving from a primer to a set of essays, and related materials.
