Salvini, Giorgio, Istituto Naszionale di Fisica Nucleare, Frascati, from R.R.W., C. U., re photoproduction measurements, results slow from other machines in existence, energy up to 1.2 Bev, good intensity, uncollimated beam is about 1011 Q per minute = perhaps, 109 electrons per pulse; beam grows from 1 mm. in diameter at 600 Mev into horizontal line "in the order of 1 cm. width at 1.2 Bev; saturation effects cause beam to be displaced inside the donut; have made K particle production measurements at four angles, now able to measure K-SIGMA degrees production, cross section at about 60 degrees in c.m. system is about 2/3 of that due to K-LAMBDA production, observed by raising energy of the machine above K- SIGMA degrees threshold [cc]; reply, 5/26/1958 [tls]; R.R.W. to G. S., 6/5/1958, re visiting Frascati [cc], 4/24/1958
