Scope and content
The Archie Ammons papers, 1945-2010, contains correspondence from students and teaching colleagues, fellow poets and other literary figures, and family members, as well as formal and informal photographs of Ammons and other literary figures, poetry files, literary manuscripts, teaching material from his time in Cornell's Department of English, journals, personal art work, audio and video tapes, including tapes of Ammons reading his own poetry.
