Scope and Contents
Collection contains films and videos of Cornell University football games, programs from Cornell football games with Yale (1950), Harvard (1951), Princeton (1952), and Michigan (1952) and "press information" booklets, various years, 1950-1975. Also a piece of the goal post from the Cornell-Dartmouth game, 1948, which Cornell won 27-26. Also programs from 1952 Navy, 1953: Colgate, Syracuse, 1954: Colgate (x 2), Princeton, Syracuse, Dartmouth, Pennsylvania. Also a music box shaped like a football (MU-3180) that plays the Alma Mater, but is out of tune. Also a digital recording of the October 10, 2015 reunion dinner of players from the 1940s. The event was emceed by Richie Moran and features the players discussing memomorable moments during their Cornell playing career. A list of players speaking is included with the recording. Also includes a circa 1940s photograph of the football team, ticket to Princeton-Cornell Foob-Ball Game, October 21, 1893. Also, "The Big Red Machine: Exciting play-by-play highlights of Cornell's 1971 Ivy League Championship season narrated by Jay Levine."
