AFL-CIO Railway Employees' Department Records
This collection is primarily the correspondence (carbons and originals), of the RED Presidents: B.M. Jewell, Fred N. Aten, and Michael Fox, with officers of RED affiliated unions and the carriers. Also, included are minutes and proceedings, legal records, financial records, legislative materials, circulars, publications, reports, case files, statistical data and clippings.
Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen Records
These records deal chiefly with the union during the presidential terms of office of A.F. Whitney (1928-1949), W.P. Kennedy (1949-1963), and Charles Luna (1963-1968).

Order of Railway Conductors and Brakemen Records
These records represent the small surviving fraction of the union's total record production, the largest part of which was periodically disposed of throughout the history of the union.
Railway Labor Executives' Association Records
This collection consists of the office files of the Railway Labor Executives' Association for the years 1930 through 1967 and select general and subject files for 1926 through 1976. The files include correspondence, court case reports, court decisions, legal filings, executive orders, reports of emergency boards, statistics, copies of legislation, political records, arbitration and mediation records, financial statements and labor agreements.
Ralph T. Seward Arbitration Transcripts and Exhibits
This was an arbitration before Ralph Seward, an impartial chairman, Dean Robert S. Stevens of the Cornell Law School, representing the company and Joseph D. McCue representing the union. The dispute arose as a result of the discharge of an employee and the issue was whether good and sufficient cause existed for the discharge. Hearings were held in New York City, January 5, 1950.
