Many files appear to be from the New York office library and were used as reference on philanthropic associations, other foundations, and potential grantees. Folders chiefly contain newsletters, brochures, pamphlets, and some correspondence. Some correspondence addressed to former president Ray Handlan.

Series contains chiefly microfilm and microfiche copies of corporate, grant, and grant-related files made in the 1980s and 90s from the New York (Atlantic Philanthropic Service (APS)) and Dublin (Tara Consultants) offices. Other materials include videotapes related to program areas, and digital media from South African grantees. All materials in this sub-series arrived in boxes from NYC labelled "Audio/Visual records".
