Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series:

Files for grants made by the Atlantic Philanthropies in Bermuda between 1994 and 2011. Atlantic invested over $28 million in Bermuda, with focus on strengthening philanthropies and local NGOs, and advancing social change. Major program area classifications were Country-wide, Aging Children and Youth, and Cross Programme/Strategic Initiatives. Atlantic identified the key issue as Effective Nonprofits and Philanthropy.

Scope and content From the Collection: This collection includes the corporate and grant making records of The Atlantic Philanthropies as well as the operational records of many of its executives and program officers. Grant files constitute a majority of the collection, and contain records that document the entire life cycle of grants—from proposals to final reports.
