Abstract
The Cornell Cinema video collection includes U.S. and international art film and art video works and documentary, as well as video distribution catalogs. As director of Cornell Cinema from 1982-1994, Richard Herskowitz began a program of purchasing and lending film and video artworks on videocassette. Subsequent Cinema director Mary Fessenden continued this program as long as demand persisted, then donated the video collection to the Rose Goldsen Archive of New Media Art in 2014. The...
